“Kirara” returned from the ISS and success has been verified.

Space-X 19 was released from the International Space Station (ISS) on January 7, 2020, and the first space manufacturing demonstration model of "Kirara" protein crystal grown payload was safely returned to Japan Manned Space Systems Corporation on January 15.
It has been verified that the internal temperature requirement of 20 degC for the incubator was satisfied during powered for research on the ISS. Successful growth of crystals has been observed, as shown in the photo below. Crystals for each customer will soon be handed over to them. Preparations are currently underway to start Kirara commercial service in August of this year.
