JAMSS (Japan Manned Space Systems Corporation) is excited to announce that applications for its new space utilization service, KLABOX, are now open.

KLABOX leverages Haven-1, the world’s first commercial space station currently under development by U.S.-based Vast. This platform opens up new frontiers for space-based activities across research, education, and entertainment. The first launch opportunity is scheduled for no earlier than May 2026, with up to four missions planned over the next three years. 

The deadline for the first round of applications: End of January 2026.

■About Haven-1
Scheduled to be the world’s first commercial space station, Haven-1 is a state-of-the-art, human-centric space station, home to the Haven-1 Lab for both private astronauts and government missions. The Haven-1 Lab will be the world’s first microgravity research, development, and manufacturing platform aboard a crewed, commercial space station. SpaceX will launch Haven-1 on a Falcon 9 rocket and transport the crew using its Dragon spacecraft.
