2023.11.06

ASMILLA, a space support media, has been updated.

1) Utilization Tips for Space Utilization Beginners
“Utilization Tips" feature space industry experts who share their expertise. Let’s learn from Ms. Okada, who has been supporting the utilization of the Japanese Experiment Module, “Kibo".
The theme of the first column is "Gaps for First-Time Space Utilization Users”.

● Author’s message
“Do you have any concrete images on Space Utilization? Let’s take a look at the overview of the ‘Space Utilization’ process and the “gap" between understandings of customers and of people working in the space industry. It’s as if “common sense in the space industry" is “insanity in the world". I’d like to focus on “Preparation Time" this time. Knowing each preparation step, I’d like you to feel closer to Space Utilization.”

● Author’s message
"With foreseeable end of the International Space Station (ISS) operations in 2030, commercial utilization of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is gaining momentum, with bioindustry in particular being one of the most promising fields there are. In the face of fierce competition from Europe and the United States, we, Medtech Consulting LLC, one day hope to revive Japan’s unique manufacturing and secure a global presence for bioindustry in space."
