Our mission of High Quality Protein Crystal Growth Service "Kirara 4" was introduced on the website of the European Space Agency (ESA).
"Kirara 4 Commercial Project on the ISS".
Kirara 4 was launched to the ISS on March 15 in Japan Standard Time aboard SpaceX CRS-27, and on March 18, it was installed onto the ICE Cubes Facility (*) in the European Space Agency's Columbus module to start space experiment. It is scheduled to continue crystal formation and other operations until mid-April and will return to Earth.
(*) ICE Cubes Facility is a facility of Space Applications Services, a Belgian space company.
