The first space manufacturing demonstration model of “Kirara” was launched on the International Space Station (ISS)

December 6, 2019 (Fri), 02:29 (GMT), the first demonstration model of our space manufacturing model, “Kirara” on SpaceX-19 was launched to the ISS.
After arriving at the ISS, it will be installed in the ICE Cubes Facility of Space Applications Services on Columbus Module and protein crystallization is performed for about one month, after which the crystals will be returned to customers by the end of January.
