We are calling for samples of “Kirara” #5, our High-Quality Protein Crystal Growth Service.

The fifth launch of "Kirara" is scheduled in late of 2023 at the earliest. Since the first launch in 2019, total of 20 business and research organizations have used Kirara for their research *1.
The sample is not limited to proteins, but other samples such as cellulose synthesis and remdesivir-SBECD solutions for COVID-19 drug discovery research both of which we launched in the previous missions. We also provided STEAM*2 programs for students. Following the demonstration launched in December 2019, we successfully completed the commercial services in 2020 thru 2023. 
We will continue to provide user-friendly and flexible services as the first ISS Commercial Service Provider (CSP) in Japan.
