Kirara#5 was launched to the International Space Station (ISS)

November 9th, 2023, 8:28 (EST), High Quality Protein Crystal Growth Service "Kirara" aboard the SpaceX CRS-29 was launched to the ISS. The next day, it was docked to the ISS, and on November 13th, “Kirara” was installed onto the ICE Cubes Facility of Space Applications Services to start the experiment. After this, crystal formation and other operations will be carried out over a period of about one month. This is fifth mission of "Kirara".
