“Kirara” safely returns from the ISS
CRS-29 with our “Kirara” onboard undocked the International Space Station (ISS) on December 22 (Japan Standard Time) and parachuted to splashdown off the coast of Florida the following day and completed its mission. “Kirara” has been shipped from the Kennedy Space Center and is scheduled to arrive in Japan the beginning of new year. The samples of space experiments will be returned to researchers and students soon. We are looking forward to seeing the results of the experiment!
