“Kirara” Safely Returns from the ISS

2025.05.27

The Dragon cargo spacecraft CRS-32, carrying our “Kirara” cube, undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on May 24 (JST) and successfully splashed down off the coast of California the following day, marking the completion of its mission.

Kirara cube has since been shipped from the United States and is expected to arrive in Japan in early June. The space experiment samples will soon be returned to the researchers and students involved.

We’re excited to see the results of the experiment and the insights they will bring!
