Kirara: In Space Production — Call for Samples for Mission #7
JAMSS (Japan Manned Space Systems Corporation) is now accepting sample submissions for Kirara Mission #7, scheduled for launch in June 2026 or later.
Kirara is evolving into a platform for generating new value through space, under the concept of “In Space Production.” It provides flexible access to the unique microgravity environment for a wide range of applications—from science and technology to education, regional revitalization, and the arts.
Since its first launch in 2019, Kirara has supported over 25 organizations*, contributing to research on COVID-19 treatments, cellulose synthesis, and other advanced material development.
* Organizations submitting the same sample jointly are counted as one entity.
Mission #7 carries the message: “Space is Your Option.” Our aim is to make space a practical and accessible choice for everyone.
